JD For Logistics Manager


  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets (Most IMP) 
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Comply with laws, regulations
  • Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
